Who are we?
The Gottlieb Foundation of Texas was founded by businessmen who see the principles that cause businesses to flourish and grow can be applied to ministries with similar effect. This type of thinking in ministry is not incompatible, but is rarely utilized. We do not desire to run your ministry or to take over what you have done. We fully realize that we are in a support role with any investment we make. We feel like the capital, business guidance, and contacts we can provide can be valuable in helping to build and sustain a ministry.
Our philosophy is simple. We heel the obligation in good stweardship is greater than writing a check. We have an obligation to ensure His resources are not squandered and are spent to generate the greatest return available.
What do we do?
What the Gottlieb Foundation of Texas can provide to its ministries:
- Growth Capital
- Assistance in developing an operational plan for growth
- Assistance in determining potential partnership opportunities with other ministries to decrease duplicated effort
- Assistance in developing metrics to measure success and determine what is working and what is not
- Assistance in marketing the ministry to it’s target audience
- Assistance in finding sources of long term funding once the growth stage is complete

Why Gottlieb?
The name is a German name that means “God’s love.” This was the first name of a deceased relative of one of the founders. We felt like it was an appropriate name for what we wanted to accomplish.
